Brinsea Ova Easy Question

Hi all! We just got the Brinsea Ova Easy 190 Incubator and I am reading the manual now. It says we have to have the cabinet off the floor on a flat level surface. Can anyone tell me why or if it is really necessary. Sorry for the dumb question, but thanks for your help.

I really have no idea. Maybe it has to do with floor drafts? Cold floors or the drafts that come in under doors, etc.?

I also think it will tell you in the directions that you have to set it up and get it running a day or two before you put eggs into it?

I guess I never thought about floor drafts. That very well may be. As for the time before filling incubator was to let it stabilize for a few hours, however we are waiting a day or 2 to fill it. Thanks for the help.
