Brinsea Ovation 56 Max

Help! I just got a Brinsea Ovation 56 Max and I can’t seem to get the humidity up. I attached/installed the water pump tube....It stays at 38 percent humidity. Has anyone had a problem getting there’s up and running?

You using the factory readings or a calibrated hygrometer

I used an old clean sock cut it with scisors and soaked a little bit of water anf placed in the water tray and problem fixed mine stays at exactly 45°
