Has anyone used this thermometer before in your incubator. How accurate is it? Need to get a more accurate thermometer for my hatcher and incubator.
If this one isn't accurate (it says it's +/- 0.1 variation in temp) what thermometer have you found that works well.

Thermometer question just came up a few days ago. You may want to read thru this thread for the suggestions there.
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/thermometer.1349279/I posted there, but there were responses that many thermometers were junk, even medical ones. Read the posts and make your own decision. :idunno

I have an IncuTherm Plus and a Brinsea Spot Check (along with several low-tech ones)...my Spot Check has been very accurate. If you decide to get one, be careful not to hit the end of the probe on anything - other posters have said it can break easily.

I have never used this thermometer, but it looks pretty reliable, so I don't think you should be afraid to buy it. I always choose a product carefully before I buy it. Recently I decided to buy a meat thermometer. There are a lot of such thermometers on the Internet now, but I wanted to buy the best one. Users on the forum advised me to buy an amazon meat thermometer, and I bought it. It is a great thermometer that measures temperature very accurately. It amazes me that it can determine the temperature in a few seconds.
