Anyone have a Brinsea spot check thermometer..I was thinking of ordering one as Im pretty feed up with other brands..They are suppose to be accurate within two tenths of a degree..Cutlers also carries what looks like a clone of the Brinsea that says its accurate within .18*..Well folks, anyone use either of these?

yes I use mine all the time works great right on for temp. There has been no problem with mine. just don't leave it turned on. I have the brinsea

I have the Brinsea, and have heard it's pretty good and accurate. It has a very small range, and is made especially for incubating eggs. The problem I have found is that because the range is so small, I can't find a way to test it!

It seems to be coming out OK now against the other three (!) thermometers I have in the bator so far.
