Brocken leg? Options?

Hen is 8 months old, sitting outside of coop, limping on right leg when she stands. Doesn't join flock to find food. Advice?

Can you gather her up and inspect the leg to see if it's actually broken?
Check her feet/toes, bottom of feet too and joints.
Has she laid an egg recently?

I found her in a nesting box and put her in a cat carrier in the garage with food and water, made an appt at the vet for tommorow and left to do some errands. Upon return, she was standing up, had tipped over everything and made a mess. I thought that looked pretty normal so I let her out and she walked around fine. Back to the coop she went, where she walked directly to the nest box. Vet appt is canceled, and I'll keep an eye on her but hopefully will be slower to get ruffled in future. ( I did look at leg + foot and found nothing abnormal)
