Broiler chicken question?

Hello! Im showing my broiler chickens tomorrow, and need some help. I have this hen that has very rock solid breasts. Is this a desirable trait / put her in the show ring, or throw her in the cull pen. Thanks!

I think you would have gotten more responses if you posted this in the exhibition section. Here in the meatbirds section, we're mostly just about eating, not showing lol. Sorry you didn't get your answer. You can still post in the other section though if you want an answer for next time.

Yes! Firm meat is a wonderful trait in show broilers, I (from personal experience) don't think it would beat a bird with a better taper, but if it comes down to you and another bird of equal standing, firmness is a trait judges will look for.
