Broiler Chicks....seem tuckered out....

I heard these things lay around a lot but I thought when they were older, I got mine on Tuesday, and that night most were laying there looking limp, wings slightly spread and head on floor turned to one side. i thought they were dead. But they were just sleeping.

yesterday same thing, it was late 11pm but they can't tell time. Is this normal when they sleep? Laying there looking dead?

Yep, baby chicks lay in all sorts of positions.

Are they laying away from the heat source kinda spread out not close to each other?

Every which way, some by themselves, some all together, some under the lamp, some not, one in the feeder(looks like he got tired after eating...)

Thats OK then. I was thinking they might have been too hot, but it sounds like they are fine and just being babies.
