Well I had a friend of a friend bring me 5 babies to add to my flock. She dropped off box and left.
As I was pulling them out of box I noticed one had a beak that is not lined up, not sure if the jaw was injured or what.
Suggestions???
Has anyone seen this before?
What should I do?
No it's not "normal" but it's just a birth defect. It's common. You can't do much except monitor it to make sure it's eating and drinking well. If it can't eat or drink well, take it to a vet. They will either charge you a lot to fix it or charge you a lot to euthanize it. Hope it does well in life despite its unique beak!
