broke leg please help!!!!

my half silkie hen that is 7 weeks old seems to have broke a leg she cannot walk and is not acting good should i cull her i do not have much time to nurse her back to health please help!!!!

Not much experience here, but knowing a person responds to the post is always comforting as you wait for a post form a person more experienced....

Wish I had much more help than I can offer right now, but I just don't...

I guess I would keep her calm in a dark room, quiet atmosphere. She may be in shock. Past that I am no good to you....

Hopefully more experienced people will come on, and help. Good luck, and my thoughts are with you!!

I had to cull her

I was so sad she was in shock she couldnt move and she was shaking violently and breathing hard

she is in a better place

Being a farmer is tough, my daddy always told me.
I've had to cull injured chickens before and it never gets easier.
I think it shows you have a good heart.
But ultimately you did the right thing.
