Broke off part of beak

One of my hands chipped her beak earlier in the year, but it wasn’t far up so I was just told to let it grow out and when it did grow out, it grew in wonky and started to give her a crossbite so I ordered a Dremel to grind it down into the normal big shape 20 minutes before the Dremel got here because of the weird bite. She had it chipped up pretty high and then fell off. The flesh is exposed so I can’t imagine her pecking things it would probably hurt so bad. I’m separating her and giving her wet crumbles because my other one’s kind of a bully and would probably not help the situation. How many times a day should I separate her for feedings I can’t just put them in separate cages because they’ll scream and freak out. We do have an exotic vet near me, but I can’t get in until next week. What should I do?

I've dealt with cracked beaks. The treatment and care are basically the same as a missing partial beak. Here's a link, see post #7 in this link. Hope this helps.
