Poor dear!

I had a turkey break his tip off, it grew back and many hens will lose the tip of the break and they grow back, but this is a much worse break than I have seen.

I wish you all the best 💗

Awh, poor baby! That looks brutal, but it probably looks worse than it is. The outer part of the beak has broken badly, but you can see the underneath is all intact.
What I expect will happen, is eventually that broken piece will fall off on its own, leaving the underparts to regrow a keratin layer.

In the meantime, it may be sore. it's important to just make sure they are comfortable eating and drinking. Wet, cool food may be more comfortable for them to eat. But you can try dry, or soupy feed and anything in-between, see what is easiest and most comfortable.

I'm trying to remember if there's anything else that needs to be done, from a very old thread I read on this type of injury. I'm sure if I've missed anything, someone will be along soon to explain better.

Here's your other thread with replies.

The outer layer is peeled off and hanging. Normally I leave something like this alone, but the way it's positioned, it's going to be painful every time its bumped. I'd remove the hanging layer. There's a quick underneath that is going to be very sore. Think if you've every broken a nail to the quick and how it's sore for several days.

Provide water and wet soupy feed. The bird may not eat much for a day or two until it all starts to heal over.
