Awh, poor baby! That looks brutal, but it probably looks worse than it is. The outer part of the beak has broken badly, but you can see the underneath is all intact.
What I expect will happen, is eventually that broken piece will fall off on its own, leaving the underparts to regrow a keratin layer.
In the meantime, it may be sore. it's important to just make sure they are comfortable eating and drinking. Wet, cool food may be more comfortable for them to eat. But you can try dry, or soupy feed and anything in-between, see what is easiest and most comfortable.
I'm trying to remember if there's anything else that needs to be done, from a very old thread I read on this type of injury. I'm sure if I've missed anything, someone will be along soon to explain better.
