Broken beak

Both my polish roosters have broken beaks. The only thing I can figure is they are getting it caught in the hardware cloth. Any suggestions?

Can you put anything over the cloth where you think they are getting caught?

From previous post I have read - they should grow back, but it is a painful injury.

Wet feed in a deep dish to keep them from hitting the bottom of the bowl and further injuring the beak.

Hope they heal quickly.
