broken beek

I have a white leghotn that loves me and always followes me around and today i shut the door to the coop and she got her beek caught in the crack and she broke her beek. and its pretty bad what should i do about it.

What do you mean by broke? I had a little one with an injured beek and it got better after a few days but needed to be fed.

Are you meaning that it is cracked or broke off? If it's broke off, how far down is it broke?

I'm asking because it all depends on how far back the break is as to whether or not it will be able to grow back normally or not.

i dont know if this helps at all but i worked in a wildlife hospital for a while and we had a very friendly duck with a TERRIBLE case of a broken beak and he turned out very well. We had to soften his food for him for the rest of his life but he did fine. if anything this will give you hope ) good luck
