Broken blood feather?!

Hey! Quick question! I think one of my Pekin ducks has a broken blood feather. I didn’t see a lot of blood, more or less just a bloody scab where her blood feathers are located. It’s kinda tucked in more but is there anything I should do or look out for? Or is it a breaking blood feather that hasn’t quite broken off and the bloods just gathering? I don’t know.

If the area is not actively bleeding, leave it alone. If it does start bleeding again, apply firm pressure to the tip with a dry cloth, and if needed dab a bit of a styptic powder overtop. In severe cases where the feather continues to bleed, it may need to be plucked at the base.
