I got 2white eggs this morning and one broken brown one does this happen often or just a fluk

Was the shell of the broken egg very thin?
Knowing more about your birds and their nests might give a clue.
 
Yes but the other white eggs are nice and firm I have only had the 4 chickens 5 days the first day she laid a nice brown egg then nothing until this morning
