Broken feathers on feet

One of my brahmas has some broken off feathers on both feet. She has little bits of blood where they seem to have broken off and the skin behind her feathers is red.

What might this be? It's only on her feet, and only her.

Broken feathers on the feet happen a lot. She could have broken them while scratching in leaves or dust bathing (my last Brahma loved her dust baths). Just make sure that your other hens are pecking at them, especially if they are bleeding. Other than that, there's nothing to be seriously concerned about (unless you're planning on showing her).

Thank you. I was afraid she might have scaly mites.
