I need help 8 week old rooster has found himself in isolation due to what I believe is a broken toe.. no visible wounds that’s I can see or feel. Can I possibly save and straighten the toe back out by wrapping it to the others for the next few weeks and just keep him in isolation?? If so, should I also stat feeding him layer feed to help him build calcium faster??

He won’t walk on the foot at all. Not even a little bit. 😢😢 other than that he’s normal. There is nothing visibly wrong with him. He’s not breathing heavy just will not bare pressure on that one foot.

And yes the foot is different than before he has never had a crooked toe. The one toe is almost a 90degree angle.

Is he holding it up? Or does he try to put wieght on it? Are his toes curled under? Look for any scab, cut or swelling on the bottom of his foot. He might have injured it jumping off a roost or some other way.

No cuts, or bumps, his toes are not curled. Looks like he broke it at what on humans would be the ankle. The foot is completely folded towards the inside of the body.
