Broken half incubated egg

I just wanted to post a picture of my broken egg I have. This is so I can show beginners that eggs can take abuse and still do well. This egg fell out of the tray in my incubator about a week ago and is set to hatch Thursday. I put a bunch of clear nail polish on this egg to seal up the cracks.

Well it didn't actually break through the membrane so it should be fine. It's still in there moving and has almost the whole egg filled with just a tiny bit of veins visible at the top. I'll find out Thursday if the nail polish was fine or not.

Great job! So cute, now you need to come up with a good name. What is it BTW, a blue partridge brahma?

I wish! No it's just a regular ole' buff brahma. This one is an F2 from my birds. These birds are hatching out looking real well. I have one who hatched out and is chubbier than chubby and has a really wide head already. Pictures of them are on the brahma thread.
