I have only ever ordered broiler chicks from a hatchery, never a turkey. I'm just saying that turkeys and peafowl are late this year by a month or so and this is messing up shipping schedules. I'm sure the people who have had poults ordered fo 6 months will get them late but no problem but the people who ordered in Feb-March are going to be out of luck. I can't tell you which ones but i'm sure most.

The turkey season at most hatcherys, does not begin until April 28th. That is the first order of the year. That includes Ideal in Texas.

I just got a phone call yesterday that Ideal can ship my Poult order next week instead of May 4th.
But I am thinking of ordering from Porter since they are in Texas too.

...It showed a San Antonio address. I wasn't worried about when they would ship.

I guess I will stick with Ideal.

Well I fell in serious love with the Tiger Bronze I think that is the name.
I would really be pushing the laws of nature having poults shipped to me in August in Texas. But I might have to put an order in anyway.
