broken leg & green poop

I have an older hen who has what I think is a broken leg. She's had the broken leg for 2 weeks and is in a smaller crate in our house. We splinted it until just recently. The leg looks better and is way less swollen. We use puppy pads in the crate and change it every day so she is not sitting in her poop and it is easy to keep clean. She is pooping and peeing but recently her poop turned a bright green. It looks like a blob of oil paint the color of green jello. I've been reading all the strands about green poop and broken legs. Could the broken leg and green poop be related? She laid an egg when I first brought her into the house but hasn't laid one since. Could it be an impacted egg? I felt around her vent hole but couldn't feel a lump. She only has layer pellets and hen scratch to eat. When she was outside she free ranged and had hen scratch and layer pellets. Any advice would be appreciated.
