Today, one of my hens flew off a tall tree, and my sister attempted to catch her. she is now limping, and i cannot see the problem. she can put a tiny bit of weight on the foot, but for the most part cant, and is hopping around. as far as i can tell, her toes are not curling, and i believe that she can straiten her leg out. she is eating and drinking fine, but i really want to know what is going on so i can try to help her out. please help as soon as possible!

You need to perform a thorough examination ( or have somebody else do it) of your hen's body. Check for abnormalities, swelling, and deformities. You'll need to separate the feathers, gently manipulate the joints, etc. It may only be a soft tissue injury, which needs time and some isolation from heights to heal. If it's broken, depending on the break, it may need to be temporarily splinted until the bones mend together.

And, remember that chickens are very hardy :-)

thank you!

If you cannot find any breaks, could be she just tweaked it a bit. You can offer her some water with aspirin in it; 5 regular adult size aspirin (not buffered) dissolved in a gallon of water (might help with any pain she might be experiencing). Good luck.

thank you for your advice. :) should i try to splint the leg to prevent further injury? if so, how you make a chicken splint?
