Broken Leg? [Image Included]

I just rescued a few chickens (1 roo and 2 hens) from a slaughter house, and I can't help but be concerned that the roo walks with a slight limp. Although he is able to walk on both legs, his left leg seems to be angled outward instead of being aligned to the plane of the body, and he seems to shift his weight on the right leg most of the time. Could it be that he has a broken leg? What can I do to help him heal? He doesn't appear to be in pain or anything (to be honest, I can't really tell), as he's able to walk around just fine on both legs. Is this something that heals with time, or do I have a bigger problem at hand? Please advise.

Additional info:
-I don't know how old he is, but I'm guessing he's less than 14 weeks old.
-He doesn't crow yet.
-He appear to be healthy and eating fine.

If these are the white production meat birds, then I would say he gained too much weight too fast. His legs are giving out. It could be joint or tenden damage. It will get worse and eventually he will go down completely. This is why the cornish crosses are not good pets. The longest I have ever heard of one living was a year and that was with a very restricted diet.

Thanks for the reply, Matt. He's a brown chicken (sorry, I don't know what breed) and doesn't seem to be too big... I will post a picture later. Is there anything I can do to help him? I want him to be healthy, since he's such a good chicken.
