Broken leg!!

please help! We have a hen that is constantly under our feet and last night while my husband was in the run the hen was once again following him around and he inevitably stepped on her and now she has a broken leg. It appears to be at the “knee” and it just wobbles around . She just keeps hopping on one leg and cannot put any weight on the hurt leg. She still eats and drinks and just chills out in a quiet spot . Has anyone ever splinted a chicken leg before ?

I have splinted. the break was up above the hock. I used small craft popsicle sticks, about 1/2 inch long. Wrap the leg first with gauze, then popsicle sticks or other support and then vet wrap. A good rule of thumb is to wrap above and below the injury. Good luck, take pics and keep us posted!
