My Barred Rock injured his leg at feeding time (either got stepped on or my 5 yr old picked her up wrong!)
Now she can't even put weight on her leg and can't get anywhere. (She has to use her wing). I can't see on her feet or lower leg where its broken, so I am just guessing.

Can I fix this? Should I isolate her? Help!

I'm sure more experienced folk will be able to answer better than I can, but in the meantime I would isolate her making sure she is warm and comfy.

I've read here from others that you can crush 1 baby aspirin (81mg PURE ASPIRIN) into 1 cup water to relieve the pain and inflammation.

I'm sure a couple of her favorite treats wouldn't hurt either...lol.

I wish her well and hope this helps a little until more experienced people can answer.

I'll try. I couldn't feel that anything was broken, unless it was on the upper leg. I can't imagine anything that forceful to break it. My son is pretty gentle! We will just have to keep an eye on her and if they start picking on her we will separate her.
Thanks
