Broken leg.

I had a guinea that broke her leg a couple months back. I wraped the leg tightly in vet wrap.She got better and her leg was almost normal. She had a slight gimp to her walk. I case it happens again, did I do it right? Also, what else do you do for a broken leg?

Sounds like you did a great job. Depending on the location, sometimes a little splint can help as well.

I used duct tape, scotch tape, popsicle sticks & paper clips.

3 1/2 years later and she's my most beloved bird.
Has a gimpy walk, but she's alive, happy and well spoiled!
