Today the baby girls were outside (almost 4 weeks old) and my daughter was holding one and noticed blood. Well it seems her nail is broken. It was just dripping and she didnt seem in distress. I posted about a week ago that I was seeing blood in the brooder and only got one response that it was probably darker poo. Now Im sure it was blood and I think its from the same bird/same injury. I think it keeps getting aggravated and starts bleeding. And ideas what to do with it? How to I make it heal? will it just eventually grow back out? TIA!!! And the fact that I think this "baby girl" is really a roo is irrevelant.. im wearing rose colored glasses here.
