Hi everyone! My flock was attacked a couple nights ago by either a fox, possum, or skunk we're not sure. We lost 2 young hens but I am trying to save a third one. My main concern is I think her neck is broken.. she can move it when she really wants to but mostly she hangs it low. I have her inside in a crate as she is standing some times but not willing to walk. She is drinking water and pecking at some feed and scrambled eggs only when I assist holding her chest/neck stable. She did seem to have trouble when eating the eggs and acted as though she couldn't breathe maybe or couldn't swallow well..she jumped backward and flailed a bit but when I give her water or dry feed she seems to do fine (although she pecks only 1 or 2 pieces of feed every 30 seconds or more so she's not getting much). I am giving arnica pellets dissolved in water to treat shock, inflammation, pain and am trying to figure out a neck brace.. I cut a pool noodle so the opening was wider and wrapped a guaze wrap/holder thing around it and her neck to hold it in place but not sure it's enough support as the pool noodle only fits one side of her neck..I thought about adding a thin rod to add the support to the back of her neck to like her shoulder/wing blades area.. she does have 2 possibly broken toes and maybe a small puncture wound but it doesn't look like much when I try to move her feathers away there is some stuck to maybe some dried blood but it only looks pink not bloody and I don't see a hole or anything, I'm putting silver on it currently.

Any recommendations or advice or pictures of neck braces you've made would be appreciated as well!
