broken pigeon's egg: mother pigeon's fault

i had the second newly born pigeon's egg yesterday. i was very glad and started marking my calendar for the eggs to hatch. i didn't do any rituals such as candling but instead put on the mother and father pigeon the responsibility of doing so. just this morning, i saw the mother pigeon stepped on the 2nd egg. i rushed to check what happened to the egg and as i expected it accidentally broke the egg creating a hole in it.
i'm wondering if i can still make any solution for the survival of the one day old egg? please help.

If the membrane's not damaged you can drip some melted candle wax on the shell to seal it. Birthday candles is good as the wax melts at a low temperature.
