Broken toe nail

So I am new to this, and I have my first mild injury! My 5 week old grey bird (maybe EE roo) has broken the nail off his toe all the way down to the skin. Hard to see in the photo. No blood but it's dirty. I tried to wash it off. Doesn't seem to bother him. The broken nail is at a 90 degree angle and doesn't break off easily. I'm afraid it will heal that way. Advice?

Put flour to stop bleeding. Not sure about it healing like that though.
