Broken toenail or foreign object?

I'm not sure sure that amoxicillin was strong enough. I mean, I get it's the#1 treatment for staph/bumblefoot, this girl is not recovering. If I'm not mistaken, I see more swelling today.
Sorry to hear it's back and swelling more. Is it pink/red? Do you see any pus? Pictures can helpful if you're able to get it.

Just books/dvds. Nothing to see here... The looks I am getting in the waiting room 🤣 oh my peeple.

I am honestly not sure. I know with humans, you shouldn't soak an open wound. When treating bumblefoot in my flock, I usually soak to remove the scab, remove the core and then bandage with triple antibiotic for awhile before trying to soak again. Since your vet recommended soaking, you could call or email them with that question. Chickens do seem to start healing fairly quickly, so maybe soaking after a couple of days is ok.
