Broken toes

I just bought 4, 17 week old pullets and discovered that two of them have some broken toes. Is this common? They were in a group of at least 100 pullets raised together as day old chicks. None of them are roosting yet but will this interfere with them being able to roost? This is the first time I've bought chickens and didn't know that something like this happens.

If it's 100 it's probably common, my BO lived with 2 others, and didn't know how to land (or use her wings.) she broke a couple of her toes, but she has never shown any sign of pain down at her toes.
