I have a New Hampshire Red hen that got attacked by a dog about a month ago and she is almost completely healed... She only has a few small scabs and she now has a tail the size of my finger. I was giving her a little check-up the other day and every time I go to pick her up she seems fine but when I touch a certain part of her wing it is a whole different story! She is squawking and throwing a big fit. When I gently stretched her wing out she made a sound that sounded like she was in pain and pulled her wing away. Also when she stretches it out to sunbathe it looks weird. I might be going on about nothing but please tell me if I am, I will post pics in a minute. I am waiting for my device to charge. Also, she is only eight months old and I was wondering if she is due for a molt because she is losing a crazy amount of feathers and under her wing looks and feels like a silkie chicken's feathers.
