broken wing

I have a week old chick with a broke wing. Poor little thing is getting picked on by the other chicks. I took and taped her wing up and sort of seperated her from the others so she could recover. I did this with wire and a little box. Did I do this correctly? any advice or help would greatly be appreciated.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Hopefully the prognosis is good since she's growing and will be able to heal more easily!

You did the right thing about separating her. If she gets too lonely, you can try having some sort of clear partition to the brooder so she can see her hatchmates without interacting with them.
