So sorry to hear this. You know best, you've been with her throughout. We're out here rooting for you, whatever you need to do. Won't lie that I'd love to celebrate a happy ending with you from out here in cyberland-but there's only so much you can do sometimes. I'm sure it must be a very hard decision for you

No more Pineapple. She fought hard, but I think by the time I started it was just too late. It was pretty clear she was suffering and in pain, but I still feel bad that I couldn't fix her. Thanks for all your help, everyone.

I did read quickly through the posts. I am sorry for your loss. In case you didn't have her necropsied or thought anything more about her illness..

It looks like Marek's. You probably know that. Wonderful that none of the rest are affected if that is the case and hopefully that is the end of it.

I had sick hen in Jan. Had her necropsied, state avian specialists: Marek's. Nothing for many months. 2 bantams came down with it. Different effect in them, paralysis... ups and downs. ups were so encouraging, but always regressed and moved toward the downs....
