I've purchased from Poohevans and got a well packaged box of Cobb eggs with extras. My chicks are 2 weeks old, HUGE and healthy. If you're thinking about your own broilers I can recommend Pooh's Cobbs!

What is their growth rate and expected age at dispatch - 8 - 10 weeks or longer?

I might also be interested. What is their feed consumption like compared to Cornish Crosses? And I would love to see some pics!

I'll try and get some pics of mine on here tonight. As for eating, I've never had Cornish X but I can tell you they eat and drink a lot! I'll also weigh some of mine so you know what they are like at 2 weeks.

Still trying to find the digital camera my 5 year old was playing with. I did weigh the Cobbs and to give you an idea. They were born April 3rd

Welsummer chicks born same day as Cobbs : 6 to 7 oz each
Cobb chicks : 1 lb 8 oz all the way up to 2 lb 1 oz
