That I have really considered. I even talked to my Dr about it but she dismissed the idea. I have never really been sick until I got married and moved here. Since then it's been every day.
First off, as long as you have this problem you need to be wearing a dust mask when cleaning the coop etc....there is a real danger of exacerbating symptoms and even secondary complications with many of the molds/spores in the coop dust!!! Please take this precaution!
A stop-gap measure for you but might help a bit>>>, I have a damp basement (mold which regularly appears) and I regularly spray the walls down and mist the air with virkonS... helps quite a bit but in your case I would see if I could get it tested and take appropriate precautions with any mold problems.... if you have carpets you might want to think on having them replaced with a vinyl or laminate or such ... I had an older family friend with terrible chronic bronchitis and emphysema... I replaced all his carpets and it made a big difference.
