How do you tell the difference between the male and female of a bronze at a young age since they both have the beard

If they both have a beard then they should be old enough to tell the difference. Their beard usually grows about an inch per year and should start to be noticable around 7-9 months of age (from my experience). If you still can't tell the difference, then I would think that they are both males.

Can you post a pic? Usually about 14 weeks it is pretty easy to tell apart. It is rare for hens to have a beard. Are you saying that your 2 have beards or all bronze hens have beards? How old are they? Get a pic up and we can tell you pretty quick.
