    Hi,

We are hoping to get around 20 chicks next week. And I knew we would need brooders, but didn't know how many we would need. I have a 10 gallon fish tank with a mesh top I am now thinking we can use for the first couple weeks, and a ton of tubs. And about how many can fit into a 10 gallon tank comfortably? What would be a good covering for the tubs? They will be going into a room in the basement that is secure from our cats. But as they get bigger I realize they will have to be seperated a bit, once they get big what kind of things can I use? And how old should they be to move into the coop?
We will hopefully start the coop next week, so hopefully it will be done by the time the chicks are old enough to move in.

    Thanks in advance!
