Brooder Bedding

I've used pine chips and sand (with a paper towel under food when I set it down).
Do y'all think it's okay to just use PDZ straight ?

Also, I was wondering about pelleted bedding. It may be fine for the little bantams, but I'm concerned about LF chicks more, will they try to eat it?


By the way, I feed fermented feed, so it doesn't resemble the normal feed they get.
