Looking for advice on the best bedding in my brooding pen. I have heard cut straw is better than wood chips. Any suggestions?

whats wronge with cedar? can you not use it at all? I have pine but just curiousUse what you prefer as long as its not cedar. Pine pellets might be an option
I put newspaper and then a rubber shelf liner on my brooder floor. I can then throw away the newspaper and wash and reuse the shelf liner.
Here is the type of liner I use:

Mine is white but the color really doesn't matter. It is very slip-proof and super easy to clean with dish soap and a good scrubbing brush.
Utility sink for the win!
Is this the liner others suggested for the incubators when ready to hatch? Lockdown is tomorrow and want to have the right thing. TIA
