Brooder Box

It depends entirely on your set up. Do you have a coop ready for them? Does it have available electricity? Do you have other birds in that coop? I highly recommend this option: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/yes-you-certainly-can-brood-chicks-outdoors. After brooding chicks this way, I'll never go back to a heat lamp again, and after the first 24 - 48 hours, I'll never keep chicks in my house, basement, or garage again! To successfully brood, I recommend that you have at least 1 s.f. in the brooder per chick.
