brooder for seed starting?

My pepper seeds are not starting and I wonder if I could put the little pots on top of my brinsea brooder for some heat--just as you'd use a seed-starting pad? anyone think this would work? would it be too hot?

Don't see why it would not work if you can measure the temp on there and it's within the range you want.

thanks silkie, it is working so far (one day). I take the pots off at night to give them a cooldown.
