Brooder in South Florida where it is already 85 degrees in the day

Whoops You do not need a constant temp, in fact constant temp if anything would be bad because each chicks system regulates temperatures different, they should start at 95 as a starting point, and let the chicks determine the temp they want to be in by moving further from the heat source. I have brooded outdoors in freezing temps, as long as there is an area that they can get to that is warm enough for them.
