Brooder lamp question

I would have turned it off 2 or 3 weeks ago and started taking them for short outings outdoors on nice days. In this climate, they would be in the coop permanently, at my house.

I'm hoping to bring my 4 week old pullets home this weekend. It's supposed to be great weather in SW PA. The lows overnight will be in the upper 40's and 50's so if I do bring them home I'm going to be very watchful! No run yet, just coop because I need to let them know where home is, plus I don't have a fence up yet. :(

But welcome to the group!

Thanks very much I appreciate it. Our coop and run are almost finished. We built a fence for our run out of used pallets that were free and attached to a tool shed. It's not the prettiest but it will be effective. FYI it's cheap and easy if you decide to go that route. :)
