Brooder light Quail

I'm preparing a homemade brooder for approx 6-12 Japanese quail (coturnix)chicks. It's only a small set up approx 40x 50cm . What size and type of light/heatlamp should I use ?
It's summer here at mo and daytime Temps are 18-26 degrees, night Temps above 12 degrees average around 15 degrees C.

If possible, Make it bigger. If not, then after they are a few days old, you have to move them to a bigger ”home”.

OK thanks what size quarters would be good for a few quail chicks? Would be a maximum of 12 chicks
