Brooder looks empty

1. Thou shall not have less than 10 chickens
2. Thou shall not have an odd number amount of chickens
add one!

5. Upon the emptying of thine brooder, thou must purchase a minimum of four more chicks to fill the remaining space.
6. Thou will ignore commentary from thine spouse/relatives/"well-meaning' neighbors when they say you haveth enough hens and do not need more chicks.
7. Thou will cross thy fingers when they make you sweareth not to buy more chicks.

The need for chickens is exponential. Empty brooders in the spring is almost sinful!​

We go tomorrow to TSC and my daughter is already telling me: We need a yellow chick, and a red chick, and do they have purple chicks? Looks like we might be bringing a few home!

I got 6! Well you had to buy 6, probably only keeping the one of the lighter ones, I have someone wanting the other 5. But TSC is getting more breeds in through the week. I will keep checking what they have.

Little white one (my daughters fav!)

Buff colored with a blue stripe down back (my fav!)

Light chipmunk colored (has fluffy cheeks)

Grey chipmunk colored

Brown and grey mottled (has fluffy cheeks and beard!)

Dark brown colored
