Brooder night light question

When i first brought the baby chicks home, I left on a night light. How many weeks old can I turn that light off?

From the start they don't need light on at night at all, but depending on the heat source you do need to give them a signal to go to bed. Ideally that would just be the natural day night cycle, but if they're brooded where there is no natural light then a dimmer would work as well.
