I have the premier small size brooder plate that's supposed to accommodate 20 chicks. Will it be able to accommodate the same amount of ducklings for the full 6 weeks?

I would say maybe about 15-20 for the first 2-3 weeks, then after that probably 10 or so. But ducks are ready to go outside or out of the brooder plate after about 3 weeks. In fact they're meant to actually slowly drift away from the heat during the first 3-4 weeks. It helps their adult feathers grow in much faster
