Brooder question!!!

    Okay guys! So my mom found someone who used this as a brooder. We are both interested in it but we would like some feed back. Questions about the light, do you think the light hanging over this(with the mesh top off) will create a fire hazard? Anyone ever used this as a brooder? Thanks yall!!![​IMG]

    It is always best to make a brooder with metal fencing over it in my opinion, and the lamp above the fencing. The lamp will need to be secured so that flying chickens won't make it fall. I use metal wire to secure the lamp at least two ways. The lamp should be far enough away from flammables as well.
