How big should my brooder be to accommodate 5 standard chicks?

How long are you keeping them in there? I have four chicks in a 3x3 and it seemed spacious until they reached the zooming stage. I opened up the pop opening at four weeks and gave them access to a 3x7.5 secure run and now it looks like it will be fine until they are ready to integrate with the adults.
